 U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident (Visa or EAD not accepted)
4th year U.S. or international medical student or international medical
graduate with ECFMG certification prior to submission of application
English language proficiency
Computer literacy and keyboarding dexterity
Maximum of two attempts on either Step 1 or Step 2 of USMLE or COMLEX with
no more than three attempts combined
U.S. Family Medicine clinic and inpatient experience equivalent to a 4-6 week
rotation or externship. (Observerships not considered.)

√ Personal Statement which reflects the applicant’s personal journey and
commitment to family medicine
√ Medical school transcript
√ USMLE or COMLEX transcripts
√ Two letters of recommendation:
One letter of recommendation from a U.S. Family Medicine physician who has directly supervised the applicant U.S. Family Medicine clinic and inpatient settings.
Additional letter of recommendation from a U.S. physician (any specialty) who has directly supervised the applicant in U.S. clinic or inpatient settings |
